Our Therapists

We welcome two new members to our team!

Justine Aichelberger, AT and Sharon Daly, Yoga Therapist and Lifestyle Coach

Justine Aichelberger, Athletic Therapist in Victoria

Justine Aichelberger, Athletic Therapist

Justine Aichelberger was born and raised in Victoria B.C. She is a certified Athletic Therapist who graduated with an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College. She is also an active member with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and the Athletic Therapists Association of British Columbia.

She has always had a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, nutrition and the outdoors. In her spare time she can be found enjoying activities such as dance, running, hiking, and working out. Her love of science, math, and physical activity brought her to the career of an Athletic Therapist and she has never looked back. Justine finds satisfaction and gratitude helping people achieve instant gains and pain relief.

Justine believes in assessing the body as a whole to find the cause and source of pain, and then through manual treatment and therapeutic exercise these necessary adjustments are targeted to prevent further injury and/or pain episodes. You can treat the pain but without addressing the cause of the pain, symptoms will return.

More About Justine

Sharon Daly, YOga Therapist in Victoria

Sharon Daly, Yoga Therapist & Lifestyle Coach

Sharon is passionate about helping people put the joy back into their lives -- when stress, pain, dissatisfaction or setbacks have made life a struggle rather than a natural source of flourishing. She does this with a whole-person framework that looks at and works with different aspects of personal well-being. A substantial amount of research shows that actively attending to one's personal healing and wellbeing doesn’t just make individuals feel good it greatly affects their happiness, health, energy, relationships and productivity.

Sharon knows from personal and work experience that when one slows down, connects inward and listens to their body's wisdom, they’re directed toward greater vitality and fulfillment in their life “the way a flower turns toward the sun”. As a seasoned professional she is able to create a safe space for self-exploration, focused movement and moving forward in life. Her clients are often interested in healing their body mind and they value the idea of living well in their body and life.

Clients are encouraged to view themselves in the spirit of adventure — with a sense of curiousity, appreciation, experimentation and receptivity. This mindset allows one to be okay with ‘not knowing’, opening up internal space for new insights and unfolding possibility: that possibility of being better, being more of who they truly are.

Kasey Thompson, Registered Massage Therapist

Kasey has lived in Victoria since 1996, but is originally from Red Deer, Alberta. As a youth she was very athletic, competing in dance for over 10 years, playing baseball, tennis and basketball, and enjoying downhill skiing. A series of sport injuries throughout her life, including a dislocated knee, torn rotator cuff, badly bruised tail bone and whiplash, lead her to alternative health care. As a patient recovering from significant injuries, she has gained personal experience with both acute and chronic pain, the rehabilitative process including the set backs and re-injury as well as the success of full recovery.

As a health care professional Kasey is dedicated to providing the best possible care for you. She uses specific orthopedic testing and postural assessment to pin point the cause of your pain. Personalized treatment plan development will help you break through barriers and achieve your treatment goals. Kasey focuses on therapeutic, relaxation and sport massage in her practice, but is also trained in aromatherapy and therapeutic exercise for rehabilitation. Myofascial release, muscle energy technique, trigger point release and swedish massage are just some of the techniques that may be used in your treatment. Aromatherapy, breathing techniques and relaxing music can be incorporated into any of these treatments.

Adding to her skill set, Kasey has completed the Stott Pilates Instructor Training program. A comprehensive home care routine of both stretching and strengthening exercises will give you the tools and resources you need to stay healthy and symptom free, long after you recovery from your injuries. You will walk out of the clinic with the knowledge and confidence you need to live a happy, healthy and pain free life.
